My name is Elhoussaine Ousbouh, or just Houssine to most people who know me. I was born and raised in the south of Morocco, and over the years, I’ve become many things: a musician, a guide, a driver, a friend to travelers, and someone always in search of human connection. But above all, I’m someone who believes that every meeting, even the briefest, carries a spark of something unforgettable.
Music has always been part of me. I don’t just play, I feel the rhythm and the words, the joy of the blues and gnawa ma3lm players, and the quiet soul of the mountains in every note. I often play with my band tamawayt or guest houses sometimes under the stars, sometimes for friends who were strangers just hours before. I don’t know, every day is different.
I have lived in Marrakech for more than 7 years now, a city that never sleeps. I created Marrakechtips.com to help people explore it the way I know it for good,
I also run a travel agency, offering private, tailor-made tours around the country. With my local knowledge, trusted drivers, and a network of riads, desert camps, and guides, I help travelers design their dream trip, whether it’s a luxurious 14-day cultural Tour or a 2-day adventure to the dunes with music around a fire at night.
I don’t just sell tours. I don’t go on every trip, but I organize everything with care, the driver, the road, the stay, and even the little moments you’ll remember long after. Many people Traveled with US. Some leave TripAdvisor reviews (45 so far!), others stay in touch all the time. I assist with everything, even airport transfers from Casablanca in a Mercedes Vito, or finding a quiet mountain guesthouse when a hotel is fully booked. I help people ship their products to their homeland with the best rates available.
I work independently, not through a big company. That’s why every experience I offer is shaped by who I am and what I believe in flexibility, and respect. I’ve also started BereberPeople.com to share vintage Moroccan crafts with people in Europe, the USA, and Canada, handmade objects that carry stories, not just prices.
My life is not about running a big company or chasing big numbers. I don’t take on hundreds of bookings. I believe in staying small, focused, and personal; that’s how I keep the quality high for everyone.
For me, it’s not about quantity; it’s about making sure every person feels cared for, every tour goes smoothly, and every experience is something to remember.
