Refund and Cancellation Policy

At MarrakechTips, we aim to be flexible and fair while ensuring we can properly manage reservations, partners, and accommodations. Please read the cancellation conditions carefully, as they differ between day experiences and multi-day tours.

Important note:
All refunds are issued to the same payment method used for the original booking. Bank processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.


1. Day Experiences (1-Day Activities)

This includes excursions, desert experiences, guided city tours, and other single-day activities.

  • Free cancellation (100% refund) if cancelled at least 24 hours before the activity date

  • No refund for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the activity or in case of no-show


2. Multi-Day Tours (2 Days or More)

This includes tours with accommodations, transport, guides, drivers, and logistics booked in advance.

  • 100% refund if cancelled at least 10 days before the tour start date

  • 50% refund if cancelled 7 to 9 days before the tour start date

  • No refund for cancellations made less than 7 days before the tour start date or in case of no-show


3. Special Case – Tours with Client-Booked Hotels

If you booked your own hotels and MarrakechTips only arranged services such as transport, guides, or activities:

  • If we are able to cancel our suppliers and recover our costs, we may offer a full or partial refund, even if the cancellation is within the standard non-refundable period

  • This depends entirely on whether our partners (hotels, drivers, guides) agree to refund us

⚠️ Important:
Hotels and partners often require at least 7 days’ notice for cancellation. If we successfully receive a refund from them, we will pass it on to you.

Each case is reviewed individually and handled with fairness and transparency.


4. Cancellation by MarrakechTips

In the rare event that MarrakechTips needs to cancel a service:

  • Immediate notification by email and/or phone

  • Full refund processed within 5 business days, or

  • Free rescheduling to another date (subject to availability)

  • In some cases, a voucher of 110% of the amount paid for a future booking may be offered


5. Booking Modifications

  • Date changes:

    • Day experiences: up to 24 hours before, subject to availability

    • Multi-day tours: up to 7 days before, subject to availability

  • Change of participants: Allowed up to 24 hours before (minor changes only)

  • Service upgrades: Possible at any time (price difference applies)

All modifications must be confirmed by email by our team.


6. Refund Process

To request a refund, please email contact@marrakechtips.com with:

  • Booking number

  • Full name

  • Service or tour date

  • Reason for cancellation

Process timeline:

  • Confirmation within 24 hours

  • Processing within 48 hours

  • Refund appears within 7–10 business days, depending on your bank


7. Exceptional Situations (Force Majeure)

For cases such as extreme weather, government restrictions, or serious medical emergencies:

  • Supporting documents may be required

  • Flexible rescheduling up to 12 months

  • Partial or full refund depending on recoverable costs

Each situation is evaluated individually with understanding.
